It all started in 2014 when our founder was looking for a tool on the internet to measure an area of a land! Suddenly, he noticed that the existent tools were not the best and so he decided to create the famous Calcmaps.com!

With a few tools, Calcmaps became one of the most famous websites for maping tools, and so besides measuring areas, some more features were added, like radius, elevation, distances and coordinates calculator.

With a huge number of visitors using those tools, some of them started asking for something more professional, even if it had a price, where they could save the objects they drew, like areas and circle radius.

That's when, around 2019, Calcmaps PRO began to be developed and tested by these same beta users, and in 2021 the official company Emptydrops LDA based in Portugal was created and the first version was released.

Since then we already have more than 25k users, and more than 200k Maps and Store Locators were created by our users.

We continue working every day to bring to you the best Map Tools with affordable prices so everyone can have access and create amazing projects, and to help you with your company, job or hobby.
